I inserted my Airtel network 3G Sim card into the Sim Card slot in battery compartment of my Dell Latitude e6420 core i5 laptop, but there was no indication that it read or recognized it. What should I do to activate it without external modem.

I'm using hp elitebook 820 G3 which is running on window 11. It has sim card slot but cellular data option is missing as a result of that I can't use it. How can I fix this?
